A second stimulus check may bring some people more money. Would you be one of them?
It's still unclear when a second stimulus payment will pass Congress and go out to those eligible for the funds. The current negotiations for economic relief legislation would replenish a few benefits set to expire, but seem to leave direct payments out of the conversation for the rest of the year. Omitting the popular direct payment would shed billions from the total cost of the bill and also a layer of complication, which may make the package more likely to get a vote in the coming days.
