Our Team
HEATHER M. FINDON, CPA
Heather Findon is a magna cum laude graduate of Robert Morris University, holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Accounting. She also earned an Associate in Specialized Business Degree in Accounting Administration from Pittsburgh Technical Institute.
Since 2005, Heather has specialized in tax services for owners of closely held businesses across various industries, including construction, real estate, investment, and service sectors. Her background includes extensive experience in business tax compliance, state and local tax matters, and individual tax planning.
Heather is an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
MICHELE KLIM, CPA
Michele Klim holds a Master’s in Business Administration with a specialization in fraud and forensic accounting from Seton Hill University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the same institution. Michele brings over 20 years of public accounting experience, focusing on closely held companies and individual tax returns.
She is an active member of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).
In her free time, Michele enjoys traveling and exploring new destinations.
ALEX POVENZ, CPA
Alex Povenz is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, earning both a Bachelor of Science and a master’s degree in Accounting.
With more than 10 years of public accounting experience, Alex has managed projects involving business, personal, and trust income taxes, payroll and property taxes, business privilege taxes, and business sale transactions. He has worked with clients in manufacturing, construction, real estate, international business, mergers and acquisitions, and high-net-worth sectors.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys international travel, attending theater shows, trying new restaurants, and supporting the Pirates at PNC Park.
JENNIFER JONES
Jennifer Jones brings over 28 years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping. She is highly regarded by her clients for her dedication and expertise, and she also prepares individual tax returns.
DAVID KRAUS
David Kraus is a graduate of Robert Morris University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and holds an Associate in Specialized Business Degree from Bradford School of Business.
David has 20 years of public accounting experience, including work with corporate tax, fiduciary trusts, and estates. He has served clients in banking, manufacturing, restaurants, healthcare, construction, and real estate. At Findon & Associates, David prepares and reviews partnership, corporate, individual, nonprofit, trust, and estate tax returns, and provides tax planning and client consulting.
When not at work, David enjoys spending time with his daughter, playing sports, and volunteering in his community.
CINDY PIERCE
Cindy Pierce is highly experienced in payroll taxation and provides expert support to business clients with payroll and related inquiries. Most recently, you can find Cindy greeting our clients as they enter our office.
MARIE NIZER
With over 20 years of experience, Marie Nizer assists business clients with their payroll and administrative needs. She is known for her positive attitude and the strong relationships she builds with clients. Marie is now part-time as she is looking forward to retirement in the near future.
TREVOR SALVIOR
Trevor Salvior graduated from Chatham University in 2022 with a Master’s in Business Administration, following a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting in 2021. He is skilled in payroll, accounting, bookkeeping, tax planning, and tax preparation.
Trevor is currently working toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant, with support from the firm.
In his spare time, Trevor enjoys attending concerts and watching sports.
RICHARD FLYNN
Richard Flynn is a college graduate with eight years of experience in accounting and tax preparation. He specializes in preparing business and personal tax returns and financial statements using QuickBooks. Outside of the office, Richard enjoys spending time with his wife and dog.
HUNTER FRITSCHIE
Hunter Fritschie is a recent graduate of Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business, focusing on Accounting. He also holds an Associate Degree from the Community College of Allegheny County in general education. Hunter is eager to learn and expand his skills at the firm. In his free time, he enjoys weightlifting, playing video games, and spending time with his dog.
